Two Deputy Collectors on GIDC duty held taking bribe

Anti corruption bureau unit of Surat has trapped one Deputy Collector Prashant Murari Vakil and another retired Deputy Collector but on government duty Mahesh Bhanuprasad Pandya in Vadodara accepting Rs 3 lakh bribe on complaint of Nitesh Tribhuvandas Patel of Surat. While Prashant Vakil is Deputy Collector and officer on special duty, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation(GIDC), Mahesh Pandya is land matter expert and retired Deputy Collector, officer on special duty, GIDC, Vadodara. The operation was conducted by ATS team of Surat.
