CM calls on noted litterateur Bhagwatikumar Sharma at his residence

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today paid a courtesy call on noted octogenarian journalist-writer Bhagwatikumar Sharma at his residence at Adajan in Surat city, presented him a bouquet of flower and felicitated him with a shawl. She spent some time with the family members of the writer and enquired about his wellbeing.
The veteran litterateur presented a bunch of his select books to the Chief Minister and recited some poems in his inimitable style creating an ambience befitting the occasion. He continued to maintain the sparks of an alert and fearless journalist and prolific writer.
Those present on the occasion included the writer’s daughter Reenaben, daughter-in-law Jhankhnaben, son-in-law Chintanbhai, friends Mukulbhai Choksi, Himanshubhai Bhatt and Dakshesh Thaker, ex-MPBharatsinh Parmar, MLA Purnesh Modi, Mayor Asmitaben Siroya, Collector Rajendra Kumar and Municipal Commissioner Milind Torwane, among others.
