New Delhi: State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has secured Gujarat Alkalies and Chemical Limited order for setting up a 15 MW solar photovoltaic power plant on EPC basis at Charanka in North Gujarat. Bhubaneswar State-run NALCO has signed an agreement with Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) for setting up of an integrated caustic soda plant and captive power plant in Gujarat's Dahej at a cost of Rs 1,789 crore. New Delhi Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) has decided to close the loss-making calcium chloride plant of Vadodara complex and is looking to sell the facility. "GACL is running 12 individual plants in Vadodara Complex and 11 plants in Dahej Complex.
