Centre for Environment Planning and Technology (CEPT University), National Institute of Design (NID), IIM Ahmedabad(IIMA), Physical Research Laboratory(PRL), ATIRA, AMA, ISRO, EDI, IPR and many more institutes/campuses are established here where thousands of creative minds are at work in different avenues.

In this short animated movie names as ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’, NID Ahmedabad(same institute which deigned India’s 2 Rs. Coins with Christian cross impression) has animated Hindu Lord Ganesha’s idols for fun. You can watch Lord Ganesha’s idol harrased by fishes, idol falling down deep in the see and being tried to save by a mouse, idols Ramp walking under the ocean, Idols playing Garba on the song ‘Dham Dham Dhol Vage’ etc. On original page of You Tube where this videos is launched some people has submitted their concerns posting comments about how their sentiments are hurt due to this video.
