It was a 2008′s convocation ceremony evening at Asia’s premier management school, Indian institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, India’s eminent economist and vice chairman of India’s planning commission was chief guest at this occasion. અમદાવાદની ઈન્ડિયન ઈન્સ્ટિટ્યુટ ઓફ મેનેજમેન્ટમાં વર્ષ ૨૦૦૮ના પદવીદાન સમારંભમાં મુખ્ય અતિથિ આ વખતે ભારતના જાણીતા અર્થશાસ્ત્રી અને આયોજન પંચના ઉપાધ્યક્ષ તથા વડાપ્રધાન મનમોહનસિંહના નજદીકી એવા મોન્ટેક સિંઘ આહલુવાલિયા હતા. શ્રી મોન્ટેકસિંઘ આહલુવાલિયાના પદવીદાન સમારંભના આખા સંબોધનમાંથી નવ મિનીટનો મહત્વનો ભાગ અહીં પ્રસ્તુત છે કે જેમાં તેમણે ભારતના અર્થતંત્રનું વર્તમાન અને ભૂતકાળની સરખામણી કરી છે. ઉપરાંત સરકારી તંત્રમાં આજે શું કરવાની જરૂર છે અને કઈ રીતે તેની પણ માંડીને વાત કરી છે.

It is to be good a part of such a great educational institution ,but how good it would be if like enviornment one could face in other institution here i would emphasis on the “standard of education “instead of increasing the number of college building where every one could get common plateform and worthful direction…

Before Mr. Ahluwalia’s speech starts, why is the forward being spoken (whoever is speaking) in an attempted Americanized English……
why can the fellow not speak in simple spoken English that is used in India.
What is the point of this showing off?
I am not convinced Rs 28 per day above poverty line and 35 Laks to renew a toilet.
