Gujarat CM Fellowship Programme:82 shortlisted for 22 projects

Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious and innovative Chief Minister Fellowship Programme has entered in advance stage. Firstly application of youths were invited through programme’s website. Now the administration has shortlisted several candidates and also chosen the projects and areas of their work.
The selected candidates received this email today:
Thank you for submitting the Online Application Form for the Chief Minister’s Fellowship. Government of Gujarat Departments have identified projects for Fellows to join, in total 22 projects have been identified. The applicants were matched to the requirements of projects set by Departments. This process short-listed a total of 82 candidates that met the requirements of the 22 projects.
This email is to inform you that you application has been short-listed, and will now be considered for selection. You may be contacted at this stage to be invited for an interview, or you may be called for a phone interview, or to provide further information. After your application has been reviewed, the Hon. Chief Minister and a Selection Committee will approve the final selection of Fellows.
Please see the attached document for the lists of projects and short-listed candidates, you will be able to find out the Department and Project you have been short-listed to. If you are selected for the Fellowship Program, you will be contacted. At this stage you are asked to wait to see if you will be contacted further. If you have any immediate queries, please respond to this email, otherwise kindly wait for further information.
The attached document mentions following detail of shortlisted candidates and their projects. The stipend is offered near Rs 20,000. Part time option is also being offered to selected candidates.
Renu Pokharna, Suresh Prajapati, Akash Domadiya, Rahul Bhadoria are shortlisted for the project: Gujarat Skill Development Mission. The project tries to achieve convergence of skill training programs to make them more effective.
Sanjay Sakariya, Sarang Modi, Hardik Mehta and Mukesh Bhesaniya are shortlisted for PPP in Education project. The project would bring in more PPP in Education.
Karan Shah, Hemal Thacker, Hardik Thaker Shakilahmad Pirzada and Ravi Khandelwal are shortlisted for Quality Improvement in Secondary Education. The project is aimed to improving quality of secondary education in Gujarat with variety of interventions to be designed.
In Planning department projects, Samit Shah, Sherin Thomas, Darshana Padia, Nipen Shah, Dhaval Panchal and Ketan Trivedi are shortlisted for project: Preparing sector prospective plans in HDI. Thie project is about Macro and Micro Analysis of HDI related schemes and preparing sector perspective profiles.
Hemang Mandalia, Darshan Patel, Krunal Nampurkar, Atul Chauhan, Jigna Chauhan are shortlisted for the project: Monitoring of Swarnim Goals. The project is for monitoring of 50 point programme. Monitoring of Swarnim achievements and Swarnim sopans.
Sudhirkumar Patel, Nancy Munshi, Darshn Patel are shortlisted for Web based Software development for Village Profile Application project which is about Development of Application for – Web based data entry of village profile through e-gram network.
There is only one project in Health & Family Welfare department which is titled as: Evaluation of Inst. Deliver. The project is about Percentage of Institution delivery against Non-institution delivery. Shortlisted candidates for this project are Parth Thaker, Payal Patel, Pulkit Maniar, Dr. Darshan Patel, and Jitendra Tanna.
State Home department offers five projects. The first is about Associate with Raksha University. As an associate the fellow will assist in developing curriculum and programmes for Raksha Shakti University. Shortlisted candidates are Malay Shukla, and Ankit Bhatt. Another project: BADP scheme implementation is about Better implementation strategies for timely and quality implementation. Shortlisted candidates are Parth Thaker and Kinnari Shah.
The project titled as: Civil Defence Capacity building of citizens against threat of terrorism will devise training programme for schools, urban areas and surrounding villages. Shortlisted candidates is Deepak Iyer. Another project: Traffic Analysis and Management in Ahmedabad City will carry out study and analyze traffic flow in Ahmedabad and will work out a project management strategy for effectiveness. Jaydeepkumar Chaudhari and Hiren Maheta are selected for this project. The project titled as: Training and skill up gradation of police personnel will study existing skill up-gradation areas, schedule, will envelopment modules, in common skill up-gradation, job relevant skill modules. Shortlisted are Kapildev Upadhyaya, Alpeshkumar Dhameliya and Hemang Desai.
State Information department has one project: Swarnim Gujarat – Image Building of Gujarat. This project would create a broad image of Gujarat in India and abroad. Shortlisted candidates are Tarun Patel, Vikram Bhatt, Pritesh Shah, Atman Desai, Ronak Rao, Ankit Mehta and Bhavin Padhiyar.
One project under Panchayat Rural Housing and Rural Development is titled as Evaluation of E-gram in Anand district. If is about providing various G to C, GEB e-services at each Gram Panchayat.Shortlisted candidates are Ashish Kacha, Nileshkumar Desai, Vikas Shah, Nilesh Kamani and Jwalant Patel.
The Rural Development department’s one of the two projects is: Reclamation of Ravines along Mahi river basin through govt. sponsored schemes in Anand district to arrest the massive erosion with soil and water conservation measures and vegetative efforts under different government schemes including NREGA. Shortlisted candidates are Pratik Kharecha, Shvetal Shah, Samir Prajapati and Sudhir Kale.
Another project under the same ministry is: A study of Rural marketing with ref. to micro-enterpreneurship. Shortlisted candidates are Bharatbhai Bharwad, Jaimin Patel, Parth Thaker, Bharatbhai Gohil and Jignesh Parmar.
The Women and Child Development department would have one project: Eradication of Malnutrition in Anganwadi children an evaluation studies. Shortlisted candidates are Ruzan Khambhatta, Prashant Joshi, Maheshwar Thaker, Biren Shah, Bhavesh Malvaniya, Gajanand Shukla and Dr. Hemant Nayi.
Science and Technology department has planned four projects. The first one is Gujarat Portal to make delivery of wide range citizen centric Government services to the people of the state through a service delivery portal – Gujarat portal. Amit Kalyani and Vishal Patel are selected for this project.
A project: Integrated workflow and document management system(IWDMS) to provide document management, workflow management, collaborative environment and knowledge management in an integrated fashion would involve shortlisted candidates: Pranoop Kumar, Ganpatbhai Dhamiliya, and Kartik Shastri.
Gujarat State Wide Area Network(GSWAN) project to see IT network components gets well implemented and maintain the SLA would involve Jigneshkumar Chaudhari and Harshadkumar Chaudhari.
Gujarat State Data Centre project to host/co-locate systems, to provide much functionality such as central repository of the state, secure data storage, online delivery of citizen information/services would involve shortlisted candidates: Bhaumik Khakhi and Chirag Solanki.
