24 hours rainfall data from across Gujarat; South Gujarat, Kutch top the chart

Gandhinagar: As many as 209 talukas of Gujarat witnessed rainfall in 24 hours period ending Monday morning. Some 77 talukas had rainfall above one inch. Dolvan in Tapi topped the chart with 157 mm rainfall, followed by Dangs 134, Bhuj in Kutch 127, Bardoli 125, Palsana 113, Nakhatrana 112. Thus the areas of South Gujarat and Kutch received highest rainfall. Vyara had 99 mm, Vansda 90, Songadh 85, and Vaghai had 81 mm rainfall in this period. Valbhipur in Bhavnagar district had 107 mm rainfall. Balashinor in Central Gujarat had 87 mm rain. Bhavnagar had 73 mm, Meghraj in North Gujarat 80 mm rainfall.
