Giving his reaction on latest Wikileaks cable, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said he was happy to learn that America believes he is uncorruptable(incorruptible). Modi said the cable mentions honest reporting of his talk on human right issue with American official.

On sideline of a public function near Ahmedabad, Mr. Modi told curious media persons that, “they have discussed on many issues related to Gujarat. So far as Gujarat’s development is concerned, Gujarat is developing speedily, and America also has believed that Gujarat can develop very speedily. And when they were discussing human right violation(issue) with me, (I said them) I am son of India, I am connected with India’s prestige and glory, I had said them looking in their eyes that America should not advise us on humanity. I counted and told them about what America had done in the area of human right violation. Conversation of this talk has been revealed in Wikileaks and I feel good that they had reported it honestly.”

Modi further said, “and another thing. They have written after all kinds of investigation that Modi is uncorrectable. If person is non corrupted it is another thing, but America has sent a report that on the basis of feedback received by various people that Modi is uncorruptable((incorruptible). I am happy as a citizen of Gujarat and I always receive blessings of the people in this regard.

Modi didn’t miss opportunity to compare his ‘uncorruptable(incorruptible)’ image with present central regime’s ‘highly corrupt’ image. He said, “and these days, there is one face of the country about which Wikileaks and others say that there’s nothing but only corruption here, and there is another face which is Gujarat according to what has been revealed in latest cable which also openly says that this country has a leader uncorruptable(incorruptible). I feel nice that America has lately started understanding this.”
