Vaitarana bridge soil erosion: 19 trains canceled, 15 diverted

Following heavy rains since last 4-5 days and due to erosion of soil near railway tracks between Vaitarna and Saphale stations in Mumbai-Valsad section. Some long distance trains have been short terminated at stations before Mumbai while some of the MEMU/Shuttle services have been cancelled on 2/08/2011 to carry out the repair work.
WR has started four lines of Helpline No.10721 for the information of general public besides Railway Inquiry No.139.
Cancellations: The following trains will remain cancelled on 2/08/2011 :

The details of short terminated/cancelled trains for 2/08/2011 is as under
1.Train No.19116 Up Sayajinagari Express will be terminated at Dahanu Road and will be reversed as Train No.129115 for Bhuj from Dahanu Road.
2.Train No.12980 Jaipur-Bandra Terminus Express will be terminated at Valsad and will be reversed as Train No.12979 from Valsad for Jaipur.
3.Train No.12934 Karnavati Express will be terminated at Vapi and will be reversed as Train No.12933 for Ahmedabad.
4.Train No.59024 Valsad-Mumbai Central Passenger will be terminated at Dahanu Road.
5.Train No.59038 Surat-Virar Passenger will be terminated at Dahanu Road and will be reversed as Train No.59039 Shuttle for Surat.
6.Train No.59040 Vapi-Virar Shuttle will be terminated at Dahanu Road.
7.Train No.59461 Borivali-Dahanu Road Shuttle will remain cancelled.
8.Train No.12479 Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus Suryanagari Express will be terminated at Valsad and reversed as Train No.12480 from Valsad for Jodhpur.
9.10.69161 Panvel-Dahanu Road Passenger will be short terminated at Vasai Road and will be reversed at 69162.
