Gujarat Govt Transfers IAS Officers; Three Districts Get New Collectors

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat on Tuesday issued a notification announcing the transfer and appointment of several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, reshuffling key administrative positions across districts.
New Collector for Jamnagar
Shri P. B. Pandya, IAS (SCS:GJ:2013), currently serving as District Development Officer in Amreli, has been transferred and appointed as the Collector of Jamnagar.
He will assume charge from March 31, 2026 (afternoon), replacing Shri K. B. Thakkar, IAS, who is set to retire from service on the same date.
Surendranagar Gets New Collector
Shri G. H. Solanki, IAS (SCS:GJ:2014), presently the Municipal Commissioner of Nadiad Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the Collector of Surendranagar.
He replaces Smt. K. S. Yagnik, IAS, who was holding additional charge of the post.
Gandhinagar Collector Changed
Shri Ravindra Dnyaneshwar Khatale, IAS (RR:GJ:2016), currently Municipal Commissioner of Mehsana Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the Collector of Gandhinagar.
He takes over from Shri J. N. Vaghela, IAS, who was also holding additional charge. DeshGujarat
