Swiss firm OC Oerlikon keen to set up auto gears plant in Gujarat

Switzerland-based OC Oerlikon Industries Group Chairman Tim Summers during his meeting with Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today expressed interest to set up a drive system vehicle gears manufacturing plant in Gujarat.
The Swiss firm specializing in machine and plant engineering would set up the plant with cent percent foreign investment as the facility would provide jobs to about 1,000 people.
The Chief Minister assured the company the Gujarat Government’s co-operation to ensure early implementation of the project.
Gujarat’s Principal Industries Secretary M. Sahu was also present on the occasion.
