Narendra Modi kicks off Unique identity card (UID) project in Gujarat

Chief Minister Narendra Modi kicked off Unique Identification Number (UID) – ADHAR project in Gujarat today.
Mr. R.S.Sharma, Director General of the Government of India’s UID project took the biometric fingerprints of Mr. Modi for his identity card and registered him under the project.
Chief Minister expressed the State government’s commitment for the execution of the project. He expressed faith that unique identity card will benefit the people in many ways.
Minister of State for Planning Ranjitsinh Gilitwala, Additional Chief Secretary for Planning Varun Mayra and senior officials of the state government were present on the occasion.
