The Gujarat High Court today rejected a plea against Value Added Tax levied on fuel (petrol,gas) by state government. The Court observed that it can not direct the state on level of tax.

The Gujarat High Court has granted 10 days bail to Naroda Patiya riot case culprit Babu Bajrangi, allowing him to attend his father’s heart surgery. Bajrangi had filed application in this regard.

In contempt case involving Morbi based ceramic units and Gujarat Pollution Control Board(GPCB), the Gujarat High Court issued notice to GPCB and ceramic units. Next hearing will be held on 3 December. The contempt plea is about ceramic units in Morbi that continue to use coal even after the High Court order to enforce ban due to environmental reasons. GPCB is accused of failure to serve closer notices to ceramic units that use coal as fuel.

At Mirzapur court

Suspended Gujarat IAS officer Pradeep Sharma today moved Mirzapur court in Ahmedabad and filed defamation petition against Delhi based Manushi NGO’s Madhu Kishwar. Anti-Modi NGO operator and lawyer Mukul Sinha’s team is legally representing Sharma in court. The court will decide jurisdiction of this case on 5 December. The case could be in Delhi jurisdiction.

-Cobrapost has relied on compromised corrupt officials – IAS officer Pradeep Sharma, his brother Kuldip Sharma are known rogue officers.

-Ask Gujarat officers any or people in districts where brothers Pradeep & Kuldip Sharma posted, u hear hideous stories of their corruption.

-“Madhuri’s” father says in IE he requested modi to daughter on watch. Reason? She was having affair with criminal & debauch Pradeep Sharma”

-“Pradeep Sharma might well have done to “Madhuri” what DIG Rathore did to Ruchika Gehlot or Maderna did to Bhanwari Devi under Congress rule”
