Construction of Rs. 300 crore govt Kidney hospital kicks off in Surat

The city of Surat will get its own Kidney hospital, first in south Gujarat and second in entire state.
Ground breaking for a new government run kidney and lever transplant hospital building was held in city on Thursday in new Civil hospital campus. Rs. 100 crore hospital will have 4,65,000 square meter basement+nine floor construction. The hospital will have Rs. 200 crore facility of kidney and lever transplant in second phase. Construction of this hospital is likely to be completed in one and half year.
