Sugnaben Bhatt, KC Kapoor commission’s term extended for 3 months

The Gujarat government has extended tenure of two-member inquiry commission for another three months. The Gujarat government had formed two-member inquiry commission to look into tapes submitted by IPS Singhal to CBI that leaked in media in the month of October last year. The commission had former additional chief secretary KC Kapoor and former High Court Justice Sugnahen Bhatt as members. The commission was to give its report in three months, but now when its term has been extended, the commission will need to hand over its report by 31st of May this year.
