Annual event Reliance Sabarmati Amdavad Marathon was participated by as many as 7,000 persons today in Ahmedabad. Organized by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC), the event attracted 20,000 citizens at Sabarmati Riverfront where it kicked off at 5.00 am in presence of Chief Minister, Mayor and others. The marathon event was mainly organized in three categories namely full marathon, half marathon and dream run. There were sub categories of physically and visually challanged too. Winner were presented prizes by Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani at 10.00 am. Main winners were Malaku Belachew Bizum, Yogendra Kumar, Sabhajeet Yadav and Berhan Agerawi Gebre.
