Ahmedabad
Due to maintenance work on the runway at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, airline operations will be affected from 16th April to 29th October 2016 between 10.00 hours and 18.00 hours.
Domestic airliner Indigo Airways has today announced suspension of its flights operated between 10 am – 6 pm connecting Ahmedabad to Delhi, Goa, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, Indore and Bengaluru.

This will prove boom time for Vadodara airport located at about one and half hour away from Ahmedabad as Indigo has shifted all these flights to Vadodara. That means Vadodara will for few months get new connectivity due to runway repair at Ahmedabad airport.
Other airlines are likely to make announcements on suspension of Ahmedabad flights soon. There’s no doubt that flights operating from Ahmedabad in morning and evening hours will have extra traffic of passengers and ticket prices may also go up.
