Mukhyamantri Nidan Yojana launched in Gujarat

Gujarat Chief Minister today launched ‘Mukhyamantri Nidan Yojana’ in Gujarat that aims to provide quality medical test and diagnostic services across 9,156 sub health centers, 1,342 primary health centers, 331 community health centers, 33 sub district and 22 district hospitals and 16 medical colleges for free of charge.
She said the arrangements are made to avail most of the tests in PHCs and CHCs. Patients will not need to go to private laboratories for tests, as the facility will be available in nearby government health center. Blood test, urine test, blood group test, kidney, jaundice, diabetes, typhoid tests will be available at govt facilities for free.
The Chief Minister on this occasion dedicated Rs 3.75 crore CHC in Mahemdavad and Rs 12.24 crore water supply project for Mahemdavad town under Gujarat Urban Development Mission.
She announced Rs 23.23 crore Pariej group water supply scheme repair works.
