Vadodara gets two new flights due to runway repair in Ahmedabad

Runway at Ahmedabad airport is closed for operation between 10 am and 6 pm due to ongoing repair work which is likely to continue for one year. Due to this some flights from Ahmedbad during 10 to 6 are diverted to Vadodara airport which is located at about one and half hour road distance from Ahmedabad. Indigo has diverted its Ahmedabad-Goa flight to Vadodara which is starting today via Mumbai. Similarly the Indigo flight to Bangalore has also been shifted to Vadodara from today. Meanwhile Air India has resumed its Vadodara-Delhi operation. Air India is also planning to start Mumbai-Bhavnagar-Mumbai flight from 21st April.
