Gujarat Congress withdraws tomorrow’s statewide strike call

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Congress has taken back its Gujarat-wide strike call given on Monday, November 28. Gujarat Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki made announcement in this regard today. He said the decision has been taken to avoid a situation in which people may face inconvenience. Congress will only hold dharna and rally programmes tomorrow instead of observing bandh. According to Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi, the party will continue to observe Askrosh Divas but bandh call has been canceled in view of ongoing situation which is already difficult for common people and traders. We don’t want to invite a situation in which traders further face any difficulty due to bandh call, he added.
