Not approved any quota formula, Khodaldham a ‘neutral’ body: Gajera

The head of Khodaldham trust of Kagvad, the supreme religious body of Leuwa Patel faction of Patidar community, Paresh Gajera today categorically said that they have not yet approved of any quota formula as claimed by PAAS leader Hardik Patel.
Gajera also said that Khodaldham was a politically neutral body and it could not support Congress or any other party in elections.
He also said that Khodaldham could not support Hardik Patel as a person as well.
Khodaldham is the representative of a community which was everywhere in every party.
‘We or our community can only support or oppose issues and not any person be it Hardik Patel or anybody else,’ he said.
He said that the trust was yet to see the quota proposal of Congress given to Hardik Patel. ‘We would take the opinion of legal experts of the High Court and Supreme Court and then revert. But in any case we will support or not support an issue only and not any person or political party,’ Gajera said.
Notably, Hardik Patel during his PC in Ahmedabad today had claimed that he has accepted the Congress formula on quota to Patidar and other non-reserved community and it has been approved by other outfits of the community including Umiyadham and Khodaldham.
