Two traffic police constables arrested with aides collecting bribe on Mehsana highway

Mehsana: Corrupt cops collecting bribe money at traffic check posts is very common. On receiving one such a complain, Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) took action.
Early in the morning on Monday, a team of ACB caught four including two constables of Mehsana police receiving Rs 100 bribe.
Accused cops were collecting bribe money from truck drivers on Mehsana-Ahmedabad road bypass near Shivala circle.
ACB team found Rs 11,295 cash with accused cops and their two aides.
While Yogesh Parmar had Rs 5580 in cash, Chaturbhai had Rs 560. Constable Jayvir Thakor had Rs 5,155 in his possession.
Four arrested are constable Jayvir Baldevji Thakor, Mehsana city traffic branch, Sanjay Madhubhai Chaudhary, constable, Mehsana city traffic branch, Yogesh Parmar and Chatuar alias Bako Shankarbhai Nayi.
