After Saurashtra, Water Supply Minister holds review meeting with North Gujarat MLAs on drinking water issues

Gujarat Minister of State, Irrigation and Water Supply (Independent Charge) Parbat Patel today held a review meeting here with MLAs from North Gujarat region to discuss the issues pertaining to drinking water.
The minister had hold the meeting with MLAs with both ruling BJP and Congress almost a week after holding such a meeting with MLAs of Saurashtra region.
He reiterated that there was no dearth of drinking water till July 31. ‘There was no big complaint about availability of it,’ he said.
The Minister said that the local issues brought to his notice by the honourable MLAs would be resolved.
Meanwhile, Gandhinagar North Congress MLA C J Chavda claimed that the government had wasted Narmada water earlier on and was now becoming dependent on MP for it.
