Ahmedabad:

Three people including a woman organizer of a local fair have been nabbed by police in connection with the death of two people due to breaking of a joy ride last night here.

Police said that one Laxmiben, the organizer of Laxmi Aanand Mela on a ground near Narol police station in the eastern part of Ahmedabad and the operator of the ill-fated joy ride have been nabbed.

They have been booked under sections pertaining to culpable homicide.

2 people including a woman were killed and five other injured when the joy ride suddenly broke.

FSL was also conducting investigation about the accident.

The due permission for the fair was also allegedly not given.
