Surat: Women folk in Surat city of Gujarat organized a Yagna wishing for PM Narendra Modi led BJP’s victory in next Loksabha polls.

A total of 532 women participated in 108 kundi Shani Mahayagna here today.

The participant women said that it was reflection of popularity of the woman empowerment schemes of PM Narendra Modi led BJP government.

‘Under Modi ji’s able leadership BJP government has done so much for the welfare and empowerment of women folk that we all want him to be the PM of India again,’ a young lady participant said.

Through the Yagna we pray to god to make BJP victorious again, she said.

Another participant said that Modi ji took several steps for security of women including making the anti rape laws tougher and even showing the courage for getting Muslim women rid of centuries old tyranny and inhuman practice of triple talaq.
