BJP leaders stage dharna in parliament campus against CBI misuse

Entire senior cadre of BJP MPs gathered inside the campus of Indian parliament on Thursday morning to protest against alleged misuse of CBI by UPA government.

Shri LK Advani, Shri Arun Jaitley, Shrimati Sushma Swaraj, Shri Murli Manohar Joshi, Shri Gopinath Munde, Shri Rajnath Singh, Shri Ananth Kumar, Shri Purushottam Rupala and other BJP MPs staged dharna against the centre with play cards. The play cards such as “Emergency is back”, “Stop misuse of CBI” were seen in the hands of protesting MPs. Gujarati MPs had placards in Gujarati language.

Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Shri Sushma Swaraj said, “Instead of working as independent probe agency, the CBI is working as agent of ruling party. Today’s protest is held to convey CBI that we would not allow to continue its conspiracy policy.”
