One of the buildings inaugurated by Modi is Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s new building in existing old campus. In photo above you can also see general hall where all corporators will sit and discuss city’s issues.



Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated as many as six projects completed by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation today.

Chief Minister Modi first inaugurates Adinath Nagar water distribution station in Adinathnagar and Bag-e-firdaus recreation centre in Bag-e-firdaus area. He then went to Raipur to open Pandit Shyamji Krushna Varma sports,cultural and commercial complex. Inauguration of revamped Jayshankar Sundari hall took place at then after followed by inauguration of Heritage building and new Sardar Patel bhavan at Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation campus in Danapith area.

Modi also inaugurated Ravishankar Raval cultural auditorium and painting/photo gallery.

Modi’s last event was in Bodakdev area, where he inaugurated a new Western Zone office, named after Rajmata Vijaya Raje Sindhia.

Modi addressed a public meeting soon after this near Atithi hotel here.

It should be mentioned here that announcement of Municipal Corporation elections for Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar is likely to be made on 30th August, after which, code of conduct will be effective. Modi and ruling BJP in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation dedicated maximum number of projects before code of conduct comes into effect, and thus 29 August was chosen.
