GIDC launches online grievances redressal system

Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has lauched an innovative Online Grievances Redressal System called ‘GIDC Mitra’ with a view to provide a quick rederssals to the grievances of the industries.
Talking about this novel initiative Minister of State for Industries Shri Saurabh Patel said that this system will bring transparency in the functioning of GIDC and will offer a rapid solution to the grievances of associated industrial houses.
Giving details of the system Minister of State said that applicants applying online will be given a unique code number and an automated message will be sent on the applicant’s mobile phone. Complaint will be registered instantly once the applicant responds to the phone message.
Industrial units will be able to apply for the matters like account status, payment of bills, exchange of plots, GIDC’s infrastructure related activities, 2R permission, subdivision of plots and pending applications among others.
Shri Patel said that applicants can log on to www.gidc.gov.in to register their complaints. They will also be able to check the status of their application.
Minister of State exuded faith that GIDC’s online grievances redressal system will prove helpful to business community and will receive high acclaims as it happened with Chief Minister’s SWAGAT Online Grievance Redresaal system.
