Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing ‘Hospital Tech 2011’ – An international exhibition for medical equipment & products and healthcare infrastructure on 8th & 9th October 2011 at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall at Ahmedabad. The two-day event will be held in association with Government of Gujarat.

“Health & Hospital Conclave 2011” is also being held concurrent to the exhibition. The main theme of the conclave will be ‘Opportunities & Challenges for Healthcare Sector’.

Shri Jaynarayan Vyas, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Gujarat, will inaugurate the exhibition and conclave on October 8, 2011. The inaugural function of the event will also be attended by Ms. Sangita Reddy, Chairperson, CII Sub-Committee on E-Health & Executive Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, Mr. P K Taneja, IAS, Commissioner of Health, Medical Services & Medical Education & Ex-Officio Principal Secretary & Commissioner, Public Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat , Mr. Atul Garg, Chairman, CII Gujarat State Council ; Ms. Anju Sharma, Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission, Government of Gujarat and Dr. Vivek Desai, Chairman, CII WR Healthcare Sub-Committee & Managing Director, Hosmac India.

The key sessions to be held as a part of the conclave are ‘Sustainable Hospital Infrastructure: Building for the Future’; Panel Discussion on ‘How to plan and manage hospital project cost effectively’; ‘Changing Face of Indian Healthcare: Game Changers’ and Panel Discussion on ‘NABH / NABL Accreditation – Will it be work for India’.
