Amitabh Bachchan’s Gujarat visit in January

Bollywood megastar and Gujarat Tourism brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan will visit Gujarat for shooting of Gujarat tourism’s promotional campaign between January 20 and January 29, 2012.
During his week-long visit, Bachchan would shoot for Gujarat tourism’s video advertisement at Siddhpur, Saputara, Ambaji, Modhera and Ahmedabad.
North Gujarat town Siddhpur is well known as Matrugaya tirth. Amitabh may perform matru shraaddh at Siddhpur therefore. Saputara is Gujarat’s only hill station located in south Gujarat. Ambaji is located in northern most part of Gujarat and it has Amaji mandir which is visited by millions of visitors every year. Modhera has medieval sun temple, famous for its built and its sculptures.
Bachchhan’s voice will also be recorded for the light and sound shows at Somnath mandir campus, Bhujia hill just next to Kutch district headquarter Bhuj and Champaner(Pavagadh).
Bachchan is likely to leave for Mumbai on January 29 to attend the Filmfare award.
