Reliance refinery, Jamnagar to commemorate birth anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani through service to mankind

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Jamnagar has organized a blood donation camp to commemorate birth anniversary of founder chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani on Tuesday, December 28, 2011. To be organized in Reliance’s A-One Plaza at Moti Khavadi on the state high way from morning ten to four in the evening, the Camp will be held support operation of Guru Gobindsingh Hospital’S Blood-bánk, Jamnagar.
The camp is open to all and anyone of age between 18 to 60 years and weight of 45 kg and more can donate the blood. All the- donors wiil be checked for fitness e.g. hemoglobin estimation, BP & weight. The blood-donors will be given a certificate and a memento besides.tea coffee. Reliance’s employees and their family members too can register for donating blood on this occasion at its Occupational Health and Family in Reliance Greens.
The occasion will also be used as an awareness campaign through posters and specimens on oral cancer due to tobacco addiction. Blood is a life line and important at a time of accident or an illness, The death toil in most of the road accidents often attributed to the timely availability of blood to the accident victims. The RIL thus has a noble aim to bridge the gap between demand and supply of blood; besides observing the founder chairman’s birth anniversary as a public service day.
