Prince of Wankaner to marry princess of Sirohi in Abu

Yuvraj Kesaridevsinhji, son of Wankaner’s royal family head Shri Digvijaysinhji will marry Sirohi’s princess Yoginikumari, daughter of Daivatsinhji on February 17th in Abu. There will be total 14-day events on this occasion. Yesterday Shri Digvijaysinhji met leaders of 51 communities to inform about the schedule of events. Members of 121 royal families are expected to participate in the royal wedding.
On 14th of February, the palace of Wankaner will witness traditional Raas Garba evening. Next day a wedding procession will be organized starting from palace. On 16th the royal family of Wankaner will leave for Abu where next day the wedding will be held. On 19th the palace of Wankaner will host a reception event.On 21st, another reception event will be held at palace cricket ground for various community leaders. On same day, a lunch for Brahmins has been organized.
Prince Kesridevsinh Zala joined the BJP last year in presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Zala’s father Digvijaysinh has been a Congress leader and was a Union environment minister. However, he is not active in politics since the past few years.
