As part of the American Corner Ahmedabad’s eighth annual anniversary celebrations, the American Center of the U.S. Consulate General Mumbai is organizing a KnowledgeUSA quiz on September 15 for college students in Gujarat. The top prize is an iPad.

Speaking about the event, U.S. Consulate General Mumbai Public Affairs Officer Anne E. Grimes said “Events like this quiz are a fun way to share interesting facts about the American people, society and culture with students. It also reflects our commitment to engage with the youth of Gujarat through educational and enjoyable events.”

Participation in the quiz is free and open to all full-time students above the age of 18. For details and registration, students should log on to the U.S. Consulate Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/Mumbai.usconsulate. The last date for registration is September 7, 2012
