Major portion of dissolved MJP’s Kutch unit joins the BJP

A major chunk of leaders of Gordhan Zadafia’s former political outfit MahaGujarat Janata Party in Kutch yesterday joined the BJP. Most of them were against Suresh Mehta who is from Kutch district.
MJP’s district president Pruthvirajsinh Vadher, vice president Shabbir Hssain Rayma, Bhuj taluka women cell president Kaushalyaben Patel Mandvi taluka morcha president Hemlataben, spokesperson Ravishankar Maharaj, Bhuj taluka president Ravjibhai Patel, Bhuj taluka vice president Krushnarajsinh Jadeja, Bhachau city president Ashwain Joshi, Bhachau taluka president Suresh Kanthecha, district organizational secretary Ugamshibhai Fariya, Rapar taluka president Devjibhai Gohil, Bhachau taluka minority cell president Hamidbhai Khatri, Nakhatrana women cell president Shantaben Parmar and others were among those who joined the BJP.
The former MJP office bearers were disappointed with Zadafia as he dissolved the MJP and joined Gujarat Parivartan Party without consulting them.
Disolved party’s district unit president Pruthvirajsinh Vadher said that when Suresh Mehta was Chief Minister, he didn’t even visit the district much and didn’t do anything for Kutch. Now with 84 year old man he wants to do parivartan.
