Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will start ‘Swami Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra’ on 11 September from north Gujarat’s Bechraji – a pilgrim town famous for its Bechraji mata mandir. Bechraji is nowadays also in headline for proposed Maruti Suzuki car manufacturing plant coming up here.
On 11 September, Swami Vivekananda had given historic speech in World religion conference at Chicago.
According to an official communication from Gujarat BJP, Shri Modi’s month-long yatra will end on Jayprakash Narayan’s birth anniversery day 11 October.
With the main yatra, several smaller yatras will explore the assembly seat areas. Such yatras will be led by local MPs, MLAs, and office bearers.
State BJP President RC Faldu has appointed a team of Jayantibhai Barot, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and Kaushik Patel to coordinate the yatra. Add to this zone incharge, district incharge and assembly seat incharge will be appointed.
