Amitabh Bachchan to visit Ahmedabad on September 16th

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan will inaugurate Kalyan Jewellers showroom in Ahmedabad on September 16. This will be the first showroom of Kalyan Jewellers outside south India.
By the end of 2012, Kalyan Jewellers will also invest Rs 300 crore in Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat in opening showrooms, T. S. Kalyanraman, Managing Director, said here today.
According to a statement, Kalyan Jewellers plans to open 11 more showrooms with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in various parts of the country. At present, it has 37 branches mainly in the four southern States.
Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya will represent Kalyan Jewellers nationally. To represent the company regionally, the company has roped in Nagarjuna in Andhra Pradesh, Shivaraj Kumar in Karnataka, Prabhu in Tamil Nadu and Dileep in Kerala.
