Dr. Maya Kodnani to offer medical services in jail

Former Gujarat Minister Dr. Mayaben Kodnani who is gynecologist by profession will give medical services to women inmates of Sabarmati jail. Mayaben has been sentenced to 28 years in jail in Naroda Patiya riot case. The jail has over 100 women convicts. As per the jail manual every convicted prisoner has to select some work during imprisonment. Mayaben has selected to work as gynecologist along with one existing serving gynecologist already on duty in jail.
