On why he was silent when Congress started early campaign in Gujarat, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said at Bechraji that he feels he doesn’t need to separately appeal people to vote for him.
“My party workers told me, Modiji elections are approaching and you are still busy in Vivekananda and development and all. In fact anyone would think on this line, but I think I don’t need to separately appeal the people to vote for me,” Modi said.
“Our last ten-year record speaks for itself. Our governance, our hard work for people speak for themselves. I think don’t need to ask people separately to vote for BJP,” he added.
“Initially when I used to tell the nation that we provide round the clock power to villages in Gujarat, they used to feel surprise, but when recently 19 states faced power cut, people of this country saw a light in Gujarat. When India was in darkness, only Gujarat was shinning. Delhi has made the situation of this country so worse, that we are shinning without any effort,” Modi said.
