During his Vivekananda Yatra in Bhavnagar district’s Botad today, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced new Botad district. The district will come into effect from 26 January 2013. The proposed areas of new district are presently part of the Bhavnagar district. Botad will be the 30th district of Gujarat.
