CM announces to double the leave encashment benefit for school teachers-principals

In a commendable decision the Chief Minister Narendra Modi today announced to double the leave encashment benefit at the time of retirement for the teachers-principals of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of the state.
As per the current rules, the school teachers can encash 150 days’ leaves including their earned leaves and half pay leaves. Now, with today’s decision, the teachers would be able to encash 300 days’ leaves.
The chief minister has also given directives for making necessary amendments in the rules related to the decision.
