Ahmedabad, 30 September 2012
Congress won 7 out of 10 syndicate seats of Gujarat University today. The total number of voters was 122 in this election. This is not new that the Congress has won more seats compared to the ABVP. It has happened in the past too.
Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia congratulated the winners on Twitter and added that this is the trailer of the assembly elections.
Editor’s remark
Go to Youtube and you will find that an average Hindi bollywood film nowadays is about 150 minute long, and average trailer of the film is about 150 second long, means the 60th part of the film time wise.
Now the number of total voters in Gujarat is 3,78,15,306. And an ideal trailer would be the 60th part of it, means 6,30,255 voters.
The election of Gujarat University polls that Modhwadia describes as trailer of the assembly polls was involving only 122 voters. Can it be called a trailer? No way.
