Narendra Modi to be felicitated for declaring new talukas

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be felicitated at Jasdan in Rajkot district for declaring a separate ‘Vinchhiya’ taluka and initiating development works worth Rs. 700 crores.

About 50,000 people from all classes and sections are expected to attend the function under the leadership of local BJP MLA Dr. Bharatbhai Boghara.

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi had announced a separate Vinchhiya taluka on 16 September during the Vivekananda convention in Rajkot. He had announced that the new taluka will come into effect from 26 January 2013.

Shri Narendra Modi will be felicitated at Waghai in Dang district and Khergam in Navsari district for declaring a separate Waghai taluka and Khergam taluka in Navsari district on 12 October.

Chief Minister Modi will be honored at Dwarka on the 13th for declaring a new district. Shri Modi will seek the blessings of Lord Dwarkadhish here.

Shri Modi will be felicitated at Una on the same day for his announcement to make a new Girgadhada taluka and Somnath Gir district. Shri Modi will arrive at Diu airport from Dwarka by air. He will be welcomed and escorted by party workers from Gujarat border entry point. Shri Modi’s convoy will pass through Jaliya, Mandvi, Delwada where he will be welcomed by the people. He will finally reach Una town where a public meeting will be held on HD high school ground on Delwada road.
