In videos: Coverage of Gujarat BJP state level meet in Gandhinagar

BJP’s national spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman talked to media persons briefly on the sidelines of Gujarat BJP’s state level meet. The talk was concentrated on the scam involving union Law minister Salman Khurshid.

Nirmala Sitharaman said, “When the CBI is reporting to the PM, free, fair and without prejudice inquiry cannot be met. People will not be convinced at the end. When Law minister himself is involved in a scam, and is in position to influence the findings, how can the scam against him be investigated in a free and fair way?”

Seetharaman said that the Congress is not ready to answer questions pertaining to its scams and corruption.

Gujarat BJP spokesperson Shri IK Jadeja in a brief talk to the media said that the state BJP meeting called in Gandhinagar today would discuss the actions to be taken to ensure the party’s victory in Gujarat’s assembly elections. When asked about Keshubhai Patel factor, Shri Jadeja said that all aspects pertaining to the election will be covered in this meeting.
