Famous comedian, satirist, actor Jaspal Bhatti died last night in a car accident in Punjab.

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi paying tribute to the great actor on Twitter said, “Year 2012 has been a year of grief for our entertainment world. One by one we have lost stalwarts who left a great impact on our lives!”

In subsequent tweet he said, “Jaspal Bhatti’s demise is unfortunate. He filled out lives with much needed humor. My condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.”
