Crucial Congress supporters join BJP in Gandhinagar

Along with Gandhinagar Mayor Mahendrasinh Rana, two other Congress Councillors today joined BJP, but the names of two more Congressmen who joined the BJP today are also very influential, and can hurt the chances of Congress party.
One is Karansinh Manubha Chavda. He was Gujarat Congress’s General Secretary for two terms. He was also General Secretary of Youth Congress’s Gujarat unit. He is General Secretary of Gujarat Kshatriya Sabha. He was one of the main organizers of Congress party’s grand Kshatriya gathering at Patan in north Gujarat. He was in advisory board of ministry of Textile in centre.
Another Congress man who joined the BJP today is Jitendrasinh Bapusinh Chavda. He is district vice president of Gandhinagar district Congress and leading industrialist.
Media friends in Gandhinagar said the lethal combination of loyal BJP votes, the supporters of Karansinh and Jitendrasinh and personal votes of Mahendrasinh Rana will damage Congress party and boost BJP’s chances to win assembly seats in Gandhinagar district.
