Three Nigerians were kept under vigil at Mundra port to prevent them from entering the land.
A ship ‘Pacific Dutch’ arrived at Mundra port from Capetown. At 2.00 am a captain of ship found three Nigerians aboard. He immediately informed port authority about this. When checked, immigration department and local security agencies found that three Nigerian citizens had entered the ship secretly at African port and were hiding inside throughout the journey. They had no permission to enter India.
The ship was to leave for Vishakhapattanam after halting at Mundra. Proper security was arranged inside and outside the ship to ensure that Nigerians don’t step outside ship.
