So after a super flop show in Delhi today, what shall be the future of Mamata Banerjee and Anna Hazare’s Ahmedabad rally which is scheduled to be held on 20th of this month?

Ahmedabad based Pravinsinh Jadeja is local host for the rally, but he is not strong enough to arrange public for moderate size of rally! Trinamool Congress is limited to West Bengal and Mamata Banerjee is not capable to attract even small audience in Gujarat! Anna Hazare held a rally in Ahmedabad when he was on his peak, but the rally had to be organized just on footpath of Sardar garden in Lal Darwaja area and there were not even 500 people present there.

Who has advised Mamata Banerjee to go national? Yes there are several regional leaders who dream to become another H. D. Deve Gowda, Chandra Shekhar or I. K. Gujral, but why to face embarrassment or mockery by holding rally where there’s no support on the ground?

If at all Mamata and Anna go ahead with their idea to hold rally in Ahmedabad on 20th, it would be interesting to see the size of the rally and kind of people they attract.

What happened today at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi?

The rally of Mamta-Anna was to start at 10.00 am, but there was no audience. After long delay when in the afternoon audience didn’t turn up, Anna skipped the rally citing health reasons. Anna’s aide said Anna was unwell, but at the same time she criticized the timing of rally. She said the rally could be organized in week-end and in the evening. On the other hand, Mamta addressed a rally with most of the empty chairs and only few people present there. Later Mamta told media persons that this rally was organized by Anna, and busy she agreed to attend it only due to Anna’s call.
