Senior BJP leader and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat candidate Shri Lal Krishna Advani while addressing a gathering of intellectuals at Ahmedabad’s Rajpath Club today morning said the nation should have law for compulsory voting. Advani said one who fails to vote shouldn’t be given chance to vote in the next election. Advani praised Gujarat government for passing a bill on compulsory voting twice. The bill couldn’t become law due to Governor’s objection. Shri Advani will later hold a road show in Ahmedabad’s Ghatlodia assembly seat area. Ghatlodia is represented in assembly by BJP minister Anandiben Patel. It is part of the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.
