Arvind sets up Rs. 50 crore non-woven fabrics plant at Dholka

Ahmedabad-based textile conglomerate Arvind Limited has set up Rs 50 crore non-woven fabrics plant at Dholka near Ahmedabad.
The new plant will manufacture high quality non-woven fabrics for bag house filtration, artificial leather and a variety of other applications such as decorative felt and car interiors among others.
A new arm of company Arvind OG Nonwovens Pvt Ltd is a joint venture between Arvind Ltd (India) and OG Corporation (Japan).
According to Punit Lalbhai, executive director of Arvind Ltd and CEO of the advanced materials division, in case of new facility, exports will have a major share of 60%. AOG expects to gain 20% domestic market share of technical textiles in India.
