Gujarat ST ( GSRTC ) Gandhinagar – Somnath , Ahmedabad – Shirdi VOLVO bus services launched

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) has launched AC VOLVO bus service on Gandhinagar – Somnath route.
The first service on this route was flagged off at 9.00 pm on Thursday from Gandhinagar.
The bus will pass through Ahmedabad – Chotila – Rajkot – Jetpur – Junagadh – Keshod and Veraval and stop at each of these places.
Ticket coast between Gandhinagar – Somnath has been fixed at Rs. 805.
GSRTC is also launching Ahmdabad – Shirdi AC VOLVO bus service today. The bus will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Navsari, Vansda, Saputara and Nashik. Ticket cost will be Rs. 1278 to travel between Ahmdabad and Shirdi. The VOLVO bus service will take about 11.20 hours to complete end-to-end travel against ongoing Gurjar Nagri ordinary bus service that takes 16 hours to cross same distance.
The first bus from Shirdi under this service will move at 8.00 pm on 12th of July.
Next VOLVO services planned by GSRTC are Ahmedabad-Boriwali and Ahmedabad-Nathdwara.
